Troll & chunk for Tuna 12 miles of Seguin Island. Two keeper cod , pollack and red fish but no tuna !

Headed to the beach lastnight/this morning about 130am to catch incoming tide and there was plenty of fish to go around. Myself along with two friends caught small schoolie bass nice cocktails and some nice fighting weakies all on peanut bunker live lining.Great time overall and had a bunch of laughs definitely a trip to remember.

Hunting is on the horizon but waters are cooling down for some early fall fishing. Trout are alto eager to grab a nice fly presentation.

The sheepshead an flat fish was small but lots Of bites

Nice morning at sea bright, nj. More people out then i thought mostly fishing with clams and worms pulling in croakers and spot. Myself and another fellow went with the jigging and popper approach and managed some nice blues me with a top water green and yellow popper him with a metal jig tipped with a green tail. Didnt notice any bait but the fish were there. I decided to leave after the wind changed direction which at first was out the west then became northwest north and at 12-16 mph. I'll try again in the morning and catch on the incoming tide

Had a good day on lake of the ozarks caught 7 keeper largemouth two 4 pounders an some good keepers

Hey anyone fish San Diego bay

28 August Wednesday we rode 70 miles out of OCMD to Baltimore Canyon, coordinates: 38.21168° -73.89648°. We weren't so fortunate. We brought home one dolphin found hovering under a buoy in 300' of deep purple water. It was also where the water temp shifted from 72.6 down to 71.6. We were entertained by a porpoise pod that rode our bow wave for a short time. We managed to snare a sea gull on a Heddon top water lure. The bird wasn't happy but was released with only a slightly damaged web. The other hook was through its nostril hole and came right out. We heard that around the 23rd of August a squid seiner hauled 58,000 pounds out of Washington Canyon killing the tuna bite. Despite our lack of fish we had a great time at sea and look forward to the next occasion. Cheers
