About: My name is Les Cobb. I am a full time professional fishing guide. I am located in the back of Baffin Bay in the small community of Riviera. Being located in the back of Baffin gives myself and my customers quick access to some of the best fishing waters in the Baffin Bay complex, " The Back Bays of Baffin " which include Alazan Bay, Laguna Salada and Cayo Del Grullo. These back bays along with Baffin herself are known for producing the biggest trophy trout on the Texas coast hands down. No long boat rides from Corpus Christi to get here, I am here, in THE HEART OF BAFFIN. These fabled waters are the prime target for most true trophy trout fisherman and many of my customers have been rewarded with that trout of a lifetime fishing in them along with me. I have fished these waters for 20 plus years and over half of these years I have made my living doing it. I am the longest running full time guide who is located in and fishes out of the back of Baffin Bay. These big trout can be caught year round here in Baffin, but they are at their heaviest weight during the winter months thru early spring. During these months is when I really focus hard on catching the true trout of a lifetime the coveted double digit, a 10 pound plus trout, we call her "SUZY SOW " , and the best chance you have to catch her is wade fishing with artificial baits. For those of you who cannot wade I can accommodate you with drift fishing, no one said you cannot catch one while fishing in the boat, wade fishing it seems is just a little more productive. After the winter and spring months are over, I fish with live bait during the hot days of summer. If you would prefer fishing with artificial bait during the summer we can do that also, but live bait is the most productive during this time of the year.
