<p>Capt. Ray Markham is a US Coast Guard licensed and insured fishing guide and owner of Backwater Promotions, a charter fishing business since 1996, fishing inshore, near shore, flats, and backcountry charter fishing for snook, trout, redfish, cobia, tarpon and others. Specializing in light tackle and fly fishing with artificial lures utilizing spin, plug, and fly tackle. Fishing West Central Florida waters, from Crystal River to Sarasota. I am an outdoor writer, promoting fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors. The business includes fishing instruction and field testing for major national and international outdoor manufacturers of fishing, hunting, and outdoor gear since 1971.</p>
