Caught a decent striper outside sandy hook main beach on a boat a few hundred yards out. It was caught on an Ava 47 red tail This was last Saturday. Caught way too many sand sharks.

Went out in the raritan bay and had basically no luck. Used clams, bunker, and gulp worms. Tried out by bouy 11a and got nothing. Then moved closer to port Monmouth where I saw some bird action and had a bite on my bunker chunk but it got away. Then went out to raritan reach where I caught a sand shark on my clam.

Last night went out on the miss Belmar princess and crushed some decent size blue fish out at shark river reef. The whole boat caught at least one fish while most people caught multiple. The action lasted all night.

Last week caught some weakfish and blues in the raritan bay with also some very small sea bass
